Job description

The Department of Management & Marketing at Austin Peay State University is seeking
a qualified and experienced professional to join our faculty as an Adjunct Business
Analytics Professor. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching
undergraduate courses, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of
business analytics.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities 

- Develop and deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions on business analytics.
- Design and implement relevant coursework, assignments, and assessments.
- Foster a dynamic learning environment that encourages student participation and
critical thinking.
- Stay current with industry trends and incorporate real-world examples into the
curriculum.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 
Physical Requirements Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force
frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.


Required Minimum Qualifications 

- Minimum of a Master's degree in Data Analytics, or a Master's degree in Business with 18 graduate hours in Business Analytics, or a Master's degree in a business field,
mathematics, or statistics and 3+ years of professional experience in business analytics.
- A minimum of three years of practical experience in the field of business analytics.
- Strong industry knowledge and understanding of current trends in business analytics.
- Ability to teach face-to-face classes, Monday - Friday during normal business or teach
in an online environment.
- A background search will be required of the successful applicant
