aFit Staffing is seeking a Business Analyst to support a high-impact technology initiative for a public sector client. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving business problems, improving processes, and serving as the connection between business stakeholders and technical teams.

You'll work alongside project managers, developers, and business leaders to analyze requirements, document business processes, and help deliver technology solutions that improve organizational performance. If you're naturally curious, detail-oriented, and enjoy turning complex ideas into practical solutions, this is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

This position is part-time initially, transitioning to full-time for 1-2 months, and tapering off towards the end. While the schedule is flexible, this cadence is ideal.

About the Role

The Business Analyst will gather, analyze, and document business requirements while supporting projects throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This role works closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure business needs are clearly defined and translated into successful technology solutions.

You'll participate in requirements gathering, process analysis, testing support, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts while helping ensure projects remain aligned with business goals.

  • Assist with solution design discussions.

  • Help ensure projects remain on schedule and aligned with business objectives.
Testing & Quality
  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Develop and execute test scenarios.

Documentation & Communication
  • Maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
