Job description

Position Summary

The Part-Time Sales Representative / Sales Manager (RWD/RWE) will identify, engage, and close data-focused opportunities with pharmaceutical companies, biotech organizations, CROs, consultancies, and other life sciences partners that require access to real-world data for analytics, feasibility modeling, and evidence generation.

This role can be positioned at either the Representative level or the Manager level (owning strategic accounts, closing complex deals, and shaping commercial strategy), depending on the candidate’s background and experience.

This position is ideal for someone with an existing network in life sciences, knowledge of RWD/RWE markets, and a desire for a flexible, part-time schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales Execution

  • Prospect, identify, and qualify new RWD/RWE partnership opportunities across pharma, biotech, CROs, payer groups, and consultancies.
  • Conduct outreach via email, LinkedIn, calls, conferences, and professional networks.
  • Lead discovery calls to assess sponsor needs and present Innovo’s data assets and capabilities.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, capability materials, pricing models, and scopes of work.
  • Support or lead contract negotiations (depending on experience level).
  • Maintain and update pipeline metrics in Salesforce or company CRM.
  • Achieve quarterly revenue targets aligned with the role level and part-time structure.

Strategic Relationship Management (Manager-level candidates)

  • Manage key accounts and long-term sponsor relationships.
  • Develop account growth strategies and expand relationships within existing clients.
  • Represent Innovo at industry meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Provide thought leadership on real-world evidence and integrated clinical network data use cases.

Internal Collaboration

  • Partner with Innovo’s Data & Technology Partners, Research Operations, and Site Teams
  • Provide market insights and competitive intelligence to leadership.
  • Help refine Innovo’s commercial approach, value proposition, and pitch materials.

Required (All Levels)

  • 3+ years experience in pharmaceutical services, RWD/RWE sales, life sciences BD, healthcare technology, or evidence-generation services.
  • Understanding of real-world data applications.
  • Familiarity with EMR-derived or clinical data structures.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organization and self-management skills.

Preferred (Manager-Level)

  • 5–7+ years RWD/RWE or data licensing sales experience.
  • Established pharma HEOR/RWE network.
  • Track record of closing mid-to-large-scale data deals.
  • Experience developing commercial growth strategies.

Hours & Compensation

  • Part-time: up to 20 hours per week, flexible.
  • Hourly base commensurate with experience.
