Overview:

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a high-volume call center supporting pension, healthcare, disability, and financial benefit programs. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who enjoys helping others, managing a fast-paced workload, and providing exceptional service over the phone.

Schedule: Part-time

• 8am - 1pm Monday - Friday
• 1pm - 6pm Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of inbound calls (100-150+ calls per day) from clients and customers regarding pension, healthcare, disability, and financial benefits.
• Provide outstanding customer service while accurately answering questions and resolving issues.
• Enter and update customer information and detailed call notes in the database during live interactions.
• Follow established call scripts and procedures while maintaining a professional and enthusiastic demeanor.
• Answer, direct, and manage incoming calls in a high-volume call center environment.
• Provide general administrative and clerical support as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous customer service, call center, or data entry experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, medical, benefits, insurance, or financial services customer support is a plus.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and computer skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of White Plains, NY.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
