The LTC/Central Fill Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient fulfillment of prescription orders within Genoa Healthcare's centralized and long-term care pharmacy operations. This role supports high-volume processing while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and delivering exceptional service to patients and clinic partners. This part-time, onsite position will be scheduled a minimum of 24 hours/3 days per week.

Pharmacy Location:  50680 Corporate Drive, Shelby Township, MI 48315

Hours:  Scheduled 24 hours/3 days per week during the pharmacy hours of Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Verify prescription accuracy and clinical appropriateness
  • Oversee automated and manual dispensing in the central fill and LTC workflow
  • Ensure timely and safe fulfillment of daily prescription volume
  • Support compliance with state/federal regulations and company policies
  • Collaborate with technicians to maintain efficient, high quality operations
  • Assist with inventory control and controlled substance procedure

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacyor PharmD
  • Current pharmacist license in state of Michigan

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a LTC pharmacy setting
  • Leadership experience and skills
  • Familiarity with automation including Parata and SynMed

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
