Description:

The Facilities Technician works closely with PADT’s facilities, operations, and administrative teams to ensure the smooth functioning of day-to-day activities across the office. This flexible, hands-on role supports shipping and receiving, light maintenance, janitorial support, purchasing errands, and event setup — helping keep PADT’s workspace clean, safe, stocked, and ready for productivity.
* This position is designed for early-career candidates; all duties below will be taught on the job, and no previous facilities experience is required. Full-time position is ideal but if part-time is needed, our desired hours are from 2 to 6 pm.


Essential Functions:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs. and climb tall ladders
  • Perform basic building maintenance, including light bulbs and A/C filters
  • Ensure bathrooms, kitchens, and general spaces are sanitary and clean by supporting janitorial services Restock kitchen and bathroom supplies
  • Run errands for purchasing needs (e.g., Costco, hardware store, lunch pickups)
    • (Company Car will be provided – must be approved to drive through our insurance)
  • Assist with setup and teardown for company events and meetings
  • Monitor building grounds and report and/or perform maintenance needs
  • Participate in safety committee activities
  • Perform end-of-day building shutdown procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Hard worker and attentive to detail
  • English language proficiency, including good oral and written communication skills
  • Basic computer, email, and internet use
  • Must be of legal working age
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • 0 -2 years experience
  • High school diploma, equivalent, or current high school student on a part-time schedule
  • Experience with basic hand tools and household equipment
  • Comfort working independently and across departments

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
