Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and access control points; verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
  • Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in alignment with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Guard card is required.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
