Job description

This is a Temporary/Part-time Position.

JOB SUMMARY: Springbrook Behavioral Health has a part-time, temporary (approx 3 mons) opportunity for a Pharmacist to work in house, 25 hours a week.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Must be knowledgeable of computer systems, system applications, and other equipment relative to pharmaceutical services.

Must have appropriate accredited certification and state registration

Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

PHYSICAL: Medium work: exerting 20-50 pounds of force occasionally. Requires standing and walking for long periods.

SPECIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.

Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, state and government agencies/personnel, and the general public..

Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.

Must be trustworthy, holding residents medical and personal information in confidence at all times.

Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.

JOB HAZARDS: Bending, lifting, walking, and standing are routine. Possible exposure to the outside environment. Possible exposure to verbal/physical abuse from patients. Possible exposure to hazardous wastes in the clinical and non-clinical areas.
