What matters most in a role like this is your ability to engage with people easily and make them feel confident in your ability to help them.

As a Concierge Security Guard, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

Schedule- Various days, afternooons, nights etc

Location- Sarnia

Responsibilities for Concierge Security Guard
  • Welcome visitors, verify identification, and manage site access control

  • Monitor and record all personnel, vehicle, rail, and truck traffic on site

  • Coordinate high-volume shipments, prioritize schedules, and prepare customs documentation

  • Create invoices, bills of lading, and process truck weigh-ins/outs

  • Distribute and manage plant radio equipment; communicate via CB, plant radio, and phone systems

  • Monitor fire alarm systems and respond to alarm activations

  • Conduct foot patrols to identify safety or security risks

  • Respond to incidents, provide first aid if required, and coordinate with emergency services

  • Complete incident reports and maintain accurate security documentation

  • Perform administrative tasks including filing, record keeping, and data entry (Excel and other systems)

  • Answer inquiries in person and by phone in a professional manner

Qualifications for Concierge Security Guard
