Computer Services Company looking for a Part-Time Computer Technician in Spokane, Washington

The Part-Time Computer Technician Position pays an hourly wage, based on abilities, with performance bonuses in addition to the hourly wage, vacation and sick days, and a Matched Simple IRA Retirement Plan.
All of our Part-Time Computer Technicians work in one of our two store locations and at our customers’ homes or offices.
All candidates must have computer technician experience and customer service experience as well. Our technicians perform a variety of technical, customer service and clerical tasks. This position will deal with current and prospective customers on a daily basis. All of our technicians must be able to communicate effectively with all of our current and prospective customers in person as well as via telephone and e-mail. Technical responsibilities consist of performing a wide variety of IT support, computer repair and networking related tasks.

It is imperative you have the required experience as we test all candidates during the interview process. This position is for a Part-Time In-Store and On-Site technician. Driver's license is a MUST.
Minimum requirements are as follows; candidates will not be considered unless they are met:
Minimum of two years of experience with a company providing hands on computer service. Help desk and “in school” experience does not count.
Ability to configure personal computers, order parts and build systems, Virus removal and operating system repair/configurations.
Data Recovery experience.
Laptop hardware experience including the ability to completely disassemble and reassemble a laptop computer.
Experience setting up, configuring and troubleshooting business level networks – Hardware and Software. DNS, DHCP, Remote Access (VPN and Remote Desktop).
Experience in diagnosing and repairing computer hardware and software problems with a company.
Experience providing computer services at customer’s homes and at businesses.
Good communications skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge in Mac hardware and software.
Ability to terminate and test data cables – cat 5 and cat 6.
Experience in various backup solutions and disaster recoveries.
Duties Include; but not limited to:
Identify, diagnose and document hardware failure or software problems on a variety of computer or computer-related equipment
Recommend components/configurations and assemble customized computer systems
Provide timely, complete and accurate information directly to customers via face-to-face, telephone or email communication for estimate approval and customer unit repair
Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
Consistently achieve productivity, customer satisfaction and sales attachment goals of the service repair shop
Complete assigned work orders (diagnostics, upgrades or builds) within established timeframes
Complete all service system transactions accurately
Understand and utilize technical manuals and support resources
Keep up-to-date on retail products and current technologies and maintain appropriate technical certifications
Maintain the department by ensuring a clean work area, tracking inventory, stocking and replenishing product and participating in merchandising activities
Participate in open and close procedures
Technicians will work at one of our two locations in Spokane, WA
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned

We do this in one of our two stores/shops, onsite, and remotely. We have serviced over 40,000 customers. We have a great team with the newest member joining almost 3 years ago and everyone else has been working here for 7 or more years. We are expanding and growing to provide more B2B service and support.
