Description:
Work at one of Thibodaux's busiest restaurants! We are seeking part or full time experienced service team members. Candidates joining our family must possess great work ethics, professional appearance, and a passion for guest service & hospitality a great meal for our guests!
  • Flexible work hours (am and pm shifts available)
  • Prior service & restaurant / bar experience preferred
  • Tipped wage

Job Types: Part-time
Experience:
  • Bartending: 1 year (Preferred but not necessary)
  • Serving: 1 year (Preferred but not necessary)

Shifts available:
  • Morning
  • Mid-Day
  • Evening

Schedule:
  • 6 days a week available for work AM or PM

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
  • Be able to efficiently execute through directions on shift.
  • Record orders accurately and immediately after receipt into the register system.
  • Accept guest payment, process credit card charges, and make change (if applicable).
  • Clear and reset tables in use.
  • Present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food items.
  • Maintain cleanliness in all areas including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas.
  • Receive and serve food orders to guests seated.
  • Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues to manager.
  • Assist the restocking and replenishment of inventory and supplies.
  • Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards. Give feedback when necessary.
  • Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
  • Ensure shiftly maintenance is completed as per wall chart and target non listed items for routine maintenance and cleaning.
  • Ensure that all area equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following preventative maintenance programs.
  • Stock products and ensure rotation.
  • Be knowledgeable of catering policies regarding personnel & operations, practice company policies at all times, and communicate violations of company policies, rules and procedures to Management.
  • Always show initiative towards company and personal development.
  • Provide support to General Manager & Catering Director as needed.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
  • At least 16 years of age
  • Previous restaurant experience (Preferred but not required)
  • Success with customer service
  • Financial literacy
  • Ability to keep inventory organized.
  • Possess excellent basic math skills and can operate a cash register or POS system.
  • Possess basic computer-related skills.
  • Possess the highest standards for personal appearance and attitude.
  • Be able to work on your feet at a high energy level for long periods of time.
  • Must have stamina to work 50+ hours per week.
