Location / Schedule / Hours:

**This position is part-time up to 30 hours per week 

**Located onsite in Tulsa, Oklahoma - Corporate HQ

**Monday through Friday - 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (some flexibility on the start time)


SUMMARY: The Accounts Payable Assistant supports vendor communication, ensuring that requests are processed in a timely manner.

 


ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Personally exhibits, recruits and coaches associates consistent with Core Behaviors
  • Responsible for promoting culture of safety
  • Review and resolve internal A/P helpdesk tickets
  • Verify vendor change requests
  • Resolve incoming vendor inquiries through the AP Help email inbox
  • Answer incoming vendor calls received in the A/P phone queue
  • Perform other duties as assigned 
  • Perform all work in accordance to ISO processes and procedures

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office 
  • Experience in Prophet 21 desirable
  • Proven customer service skills

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • No direct supervisory responsibility. 


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma required
  • 2 to 4 years accounts receivable or general accounting experience preferred


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • None required

 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Employee is regularly required to speak and understand English, stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms. Employee is required to use computer and other equipment.
  • Employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to _25_ pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to clearly focus vision.


PPE REQUIRED: 

  • Wrist rests for keyboard and mouse pad.
