Develop tools, flows, and methodologies to increase the productivity and reliability of DRAM designs. Integrate commercial EDA (Electronic Design Automation) tools into design flows. Providing training, documentation, and support to end users on new tools and methods. Working closely with design, layout, verification and process teams. Track and solve issues. Undertake independent research and development of next-generation CAD software to meet product development needs. Identify deficiencies of current tools and flows. Understand EDA industry product offerings and trends, and opportunities for gaining performance and efficiency. Evaluate tools with internal customers. Define possible flows for improvement of efficiency and cost. Develop, maintain and support the design tools. Maintain all tools at optimum level. Provide support and training of the design for simulations. Responsible for Netlisting, Simulation and front-end activity for DRAM, NAND and HBM design team. May telecommute part-time.
Employer will accept Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires:
1. Simulation verification tools for Verilog including spice simulators and logic simulators
2. STA tool/flow with PrimeTime
3. Parasitic Extraction tools
4. TSMC-based design and verification flows
5. Schematic and layout composers
