Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Technician to support our operations and systems team. In this role, you will maintain and troubleshoot the technology that powers our retail locations - from in-store devices and network connectivity to internal tools and automation workflows.

This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in supporting the technology that powers our retail operations while contributing to systems support, network reliability, and continuous process improvement in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.

Responsibilities, Abilities & Skills:

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across retail locations
  • Set up and configure devices, Wi-Fi networks, and POS-related systems
  • Maintain and monitor backend systems integrated with Toast POS
  • Diagnose connectivity issues utilizing basic network tools (e.g. ping command, IP configuration)
  • Support documentation of systems, processes, and developing SOPs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational or technical issues
  • Support basic scripting or automation tasks (e.g., Power Automate workflows)
  • Test and deploy system updates, tools, or process improvements
  • Provide support to frontline teams by translating technical issues into clear, actionable steps
  • Monitor system performance and escalate issues when needed
  • Support projects to improve business processes and workflow consistency across store locations

Schedule Requirement:

  • 4-8 hour shifts
  • Flexible Schedule
  • Able to work Holidays and weekends as needed
  • Maximum 36 hrs. per week
  • Occasional overtime hours with approval as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of IT support experience required; experience providing on-site technical support is preferred.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Basic understanding of IT fundamentals, including hardware, software, and networking concepts
  • Familiarity with Windows environments and ability to navigate system settings
  • Exposure to networking concepts, including Wi-Fi setup and basic network structure
  • Familiarity with IP addressing and ability to check and interpret IP configuration on a device
  • Familiarity with Ticketing systems and ticketing best practices
  • Understanding of basic network troubleshooting tools and commands (e.g., command prompt, ping)
  • Interest or exposure to scripting, automation, or programming concepts is a plus
  • CompTIA A+ certification or currently working toward certification is a plus
  • Valid California driver's license (required)
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 50% travel between company locations throughout Los Angeles and Orange Counties, based on business needs.
  • Ability to use a personal vehicle for business travel between company locations.
  • Approved business travel mileage will be reimbursed in accordance with company policy
