We personally review every application and look forward to learning more about you.

Remember Why You Became a Nurse.

Before nursing became about productivity, endless alarms, and rushed interactions, it was about caring for people.

Listening.

Teaching.

Comforting.

Being present.

As a Hospice Visit Nurse, you'll have the opportunity to practice the kind of nursing that builds trust, improves comfort, and helps patients remain where they want to be most—at home and surrounded by the people they love.

If you're looking for a role where your clinical expertise matters just as much as your compassion, we'd love to meet you.

Why You'll Thrive Here

  • Flexible part-time schedule with the opportunity to transition into full-time as our hospice program grows.
  • Competitive per-visit compensation plus mileage reimbursement.
  • Spend your day providing one-on-one patient care, not managing an overloaded assignment.
  • Join a collaborative interdisciplinary team committed to exceptional hospice care.
  • Backed by 30+ years of trusted healthcare leadership through the Home Health Care, Inc. family.
  • Leadership that values autonomy, communication, and clinical excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Provide routine and PRN hospice visits in patients' homes, assisted living communities, memory care, and skilled nursing settings.
  • Complete nursing assessments, symptom management, medication education, and comfort-focused interventions.
  • Support patients and families through education, advocacy, and compassionate communication.
  • Collaborate with physicians, social workers, chaplains, hospice aides, and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Complete accurate, timely EMR documentation.

What You'll Bring

  • Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Hospice experience preferred, or experience in home health, oncology, ICU, palliative care, med-surg, or another clinical setting with end-of-life care exposure.
  • Excellent assessment, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based role.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Veteran-Friendly Employer

We proudly welcome veterans and military spouses. Relevant Military Occupational Codes (MOC) include 66B, 66C, 46FX, and 290X.
