Job description

Qualified Staffing is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support operations in McDonough, GA. This role involves clerical functions for the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program, providing services and information to clients and customers. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:
20-29 hours per week
Pay: $15.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality customer service to all clients and customers.
  • Serve as the liaison between the program/administrative/technical operation and clients, providing assistance and information as needed.
  • Responsible for enrollment, voucher management, issuance, and daily/monthly reporting.
  • Conduct comprehensive clerical research to generate reports and respond to requests.
  • Enter data from forms and reports into the system, ensuring proper coding and documentation.
  • Follow security protocols for WIC documents and equipment as per Georgia WIC Branch Policies and Procedures.
  • Maintain accurate filing and record-keeping systems.
  • Assist with mail distribution and preparation of outgoing documents.
  • Meet state requirements on System Maintenance Indicators.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Public Health experience.
  • WIC experience.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of computer systems and data entry.
  • At least one year of medical office experience providing face-to-face customer service (within the last 3 years).
  • Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
