Part-Time | Hybrid | Northern Virginia
Location: Hybrid | Northern Virginia (DMV Area Preferred)
Employment Type: Part-Time
Travel: Occasional customer-site travel as required
Clearance Required: Active Top Secret/SCI with a current Polygraph (must be able to maintain eligibility)
Position Description
Dive Deep Security is seeking an experienced Facility Security Officer to support the Department of War (DoW) and the Intelligence Community (IC). This position is ideal for a seasoned security professional with an active TS/SCI and polygraph who can independently manage multiple classified security programs while delivering exceptional customer service.
The successful candidate will serve as the primary security professional supporting cleared contractors and government customers by administering industrial security, personnel security, and SCI security programs in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), Intelligence Community Directives, customer-specific requirements, and applicable federal laws and regulations.
This position offers the flexibility of working remotely while providing occasional on-site support to customers throughout Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. metropolitan area as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary security specialist for multiple classified government and contractor programs.
  • Administer industrial security programs in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and additional relevant policies.
  • Manage SCI security requirements supporting DoW, DoD, and IC.
  • Process personnel security actions including:
    • Security clearance verifications
    • Indoctrinations and debriefings
    • Visit Authorization Requests (VARs)
    • SCI nominations and access requests
    • SEAD 3 Reporting
  • Maintain government security systems including.
  • Conduct initial, annual, and specialized security training.
  • Develop and maintain Security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Standard Practice Procedures (SPPs), Insider Threat documentation, and security policies.
  • Prepare organizations for DCSA Security Reviews and customer security inspections.
  • Manage classified document accountability, storage, transmission, reproduction, and destruction.
  • Administer Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) programs.
  • Coordinate with government Special Security Officers (SSOs), Program Managers, Contracting Officers, and customer security representatives.
  • Investigate and report security incidents, adverse information, foreign contacts, security violations, and insider threat concerns.
  • Provide responsive security support while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

Required Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Minimum 5 years of security experience
  • Previous experience serving as:
    • Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO)
    • Facility Security Officer (FSO)
    • Special Security Officer (SSO)
    • Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO)
    • Industrial Security Specialist
  • Working knowledge of:
    • NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117)
    • Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs)
    • Personnel Security (PERSEC)
    • Physical Security (PHYSEC)
    • Information Security (INFOSEC)
    • Operations Security (OPSEC)
