EVS Specialist - Part-Time Evening Shift

Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Employment Type: Part-Time

Position Summary

ServiceMaster Elite Clean is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented EVS Specialist to join our Environmental Services team in Baton Rouge. This evening position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and sanitation of general areas within a healthcare facility. The EVS Specialist plays an important role in providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize patient waiting areas, hallways, offices, restrooms, break rooms, lobbies, and other assigned common areas.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect floors, furniture, fixtures, and high-touch surfaces.
  • Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners.
  • Clean and restock restrooms with paper products, soap, and other supplies.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of entrances, elevators, stairwells, and other public spaces.
  • Follow all infection prevention, OSHA, and facility safety guidelines.
  • Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment, tools, and chemicals.
  • Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
  • Complete assigned cleaning tasks accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a positive attitude while working in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous environmental services, janitorial, or healthcare cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
