Responsibilities may include sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, emptying trash bins, and sanitizing surfaces in homes, offices, schools, or commercial buildings. These jobs offer flexible schedules, making them ideal for students, parents, or those seeking additional income. Part time cleaners may work early mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on the employer's needs.

What are some common challenges faced in a part time cleaning position and how can they be managed?

Part time cleaning roles often involve working in varied environments, such as offices, schools, or private homes, which can present challenges like adapting to different cleaning standards and schedules. Job description

Want extra income with daytime hours? VAST Cleaning Solutions is hiring a dependable part-time cleaner for homes in Chatham and Effingham Counties.

We are looking for a reliable person who wants steady part-time work, weekly pay, paid training, and mostly daytime hours. This works great for anyone looking for a reliable side job to earn extra money, or someone looking to balance work with other daytime commitments.

Schedule

This is a part-time position, usually 10–20 hours per week. Most work is scheduled Monday–Friday between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, with occasional weekend work between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

Because client bookings change weekly, this role works best for someone with flexible daytime availability rather than someone who needs the exact same schedule every week. Weekend work is not every weekend, but applicants should be open to some weekend shifts, including occasional consecutive weekends during busy periods.

What We Offer

  • $17/hour plus 100% of tips

  • Weekly pay

  • Paid training

  • Daytime work (with occasional evening or weekend coverage)

  • Independent and team-based work environments

  • All supplies and equipment provided

Requirements

  • Reliable transportation between job sites

  • Smartphone for scheduling and communication

  • Detail-oriented, and able to work well on your own or with a team

  • Dependable and able to follow instructions

  • Able to perform active physical work, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
