Job Description

At Chick-fil-A Citygate, the Overnight Cleaner plays a vital role in preparing the restaurant for success each day. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment throughout the restaurant after business hours. Team Members in this role take pride in creating a spotless restaurant that allows the team to begin each day ready to serve guests with excellence.

Overnight Cleaner Responsibilities: 

  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize the dining room, kitchen, restrooms, and common areas according to Chick-fil-A standards.
  • Sweep, mop, and maintain all restaurant floors.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and food preparation areas.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed.
  • Empty trash and recycling throughout the restaurant.
  • Restock cleaning supplies and notify Leadership when inventory is low.
  • Ensure the restaurant is clean, organized, and ready for the opening team.
  • Safely operate cleaning equipment and properly use approved cleaning chemicals.
  • Report any maintenance or safety concerns to Leadership.
  • Follow all Chick-fil-A food safety, cleanliness, and security procedures.
  • Complete all assigned cleaning checklists before the end of each shift.
  • Perform additional cleaning or maintenance tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Consistent and reliable
  • Detail-oriented 
  • Able to multi-task 
  • Able to manage time effectively and complete tasks within scheduled hours
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Works well independently and in a team environment
  • Have the ability to lift and carry 25-50 lbs on a regular basis

  • Previous professional cleaning experience is a plus, but not required.
