Farmington Public Schools is hiring for a 2nd Shirt Part-Time Cleaner at Union Elementary School
2nd Shift 4 hours per day; no medical benefits; 4 paid holidays; $25,000 life insurance
General Description: The Cleaner will be responsible for the cleaning of restrooms, classrooms, offices and other assigned areas, and will record and report maintenance jobs to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • Candidates should be able to read and write English and follow written and oral instructions.
  • Consideration will be given to the following:
    • References that indicate the candidate demonstrate courtesy in dealing with students, parents, teachers, principals, superintendents and the general public.
    • A basic knowledge of general cleaning methods.
    • A good work record.
    • Must be in good physical health to successfully perform required duties.

Work Schedule: 4 hours per day, 2nd shift, full year
SALARY: $18.56 - $20.95 per FPSEU Salary Scale (Cleaners)
STARTING DATE: May 18, 2026
Reports To: Is supervised by a Shift Supervisor or Head Custodian who will contribute in the evaluation process.
