Job description
aeSolutions is accepting applications for an experienced Process Safety professional to join our team of process safety experts, bringing their expertise to bear for clients while serving as a Facilitator for PHA/LOPA studies; this person may also be involved in complex PSM projects as an Auditor or Lead Assessor on Facility Siting projects depending on skill set and previous experience. This position can be based in Anchorage or remotely in Alaska for the right candidate, and we are open to candidates who are looking for full-time, part-time, or occasional work schedules.
This person will also provide oversight to junior-level staff, support proposal development, provide QA/QC on deliverables, and serve as Technical Lead on projects with multiple diverse team members.

Qualifications / Experience:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in Process Safety related to PHA/LOPA methodology, PSM/RMP program development and auditing, consequence modeling, and/or facility siting
- Formal training in PHA and/or LOPA desired
- Experience in PHA, consequence modeling, and/or QRA software desired
- The willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time; Valid driver's license required
- Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, and work independently with minimal supervision
