Goal start date: End of August or beginning of September
Schedule: Monday and Friday required

Cornell Center Animal Hospital is a Lakefield Veterinary Group clinic in Beaverton, Oregon. Our goal is to give the best quality veterinary care while allowing our staff to have a great work-life balance. Cornell Center is looking to hire a part-time Customer Service Representative. We are a small team that prides ourselves in excellent patient care and client communication. Our practice is looking for a person who enjoys working as a team, cares about those around them, and is truly interested in the highest quality medicine we can offer.
Skills Required
The person joining our team will be an integral part of the daily workflow and morale of the clinic. Our perfect candidate is well organized and loves what they do. We love to teach and want everyone to continue to grow their skill set.
Important Job Tasks
- Answering and monitoring multiple phone lines.
- Thorough, accurate, and compassionate communication with clients, other clinics, and our internal team regarding medical questions and concerns. Thorough medical documentation.
- Customer service and support for clients in clinic, by email, chat, and phone.
- Managing client scheduling using Cornerstone.
- Ability to work well in a team setting.
- Ability to remain organized and multitask while helping multiple clients.
Requirements
1+ years experience in the veterinary field.
Pay range between $19.00 and $21.00 per hour depending on experience.
Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear.
The team member must frequently use a computer for long periods of time. Specific vision
abilities are required to do this job including close vision. This position requires walking and/or
standing for long periods of time, bending, reaching, grasping, and repetitive motions. May be
exposed to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, pets dander, and excretions. This position is
exposed to low to moderate noise levels. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. unassisted, 50 lbs. with
assistance. Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
