     Responsibilities of the Pump Service Technician include, but are not limited to:

    · Diagnose, repair, and rebuild a variety of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, and reciprocating pumps as well as other related rotating equipment either in-house or in the field

    · Perform tear down and inspection to identify scope of work and required components for repair

    · Proper communication with Service Manager and Customer Service Support staff required

    · Participation in safety training is required, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must always be worn

    · Will work directly with our customers, vendors, and co-workers to develop and sustain a positive relationship


    Qualifications of the Pump Service Technician include, but are not limited to:

    · 3+ years of mechanical service experience required (diesel mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, aircraft mechanic, etc.)

    · Experience working with rotating equipment necessary

    · Pump knowledge preferred

    · Communications skills are necessary for this role: Face to face, telephone, and computer skills

    · Welding and fabrication experience not required, but desirable

    · Background check, physical, and drug test required

    · Must have current driver’s license and acceptable driving record according to company guidelines

    Additional Information:

    Physical Demand: Lift 50 lbs. unassisted

    Working Conditions: Shop environment with occasional field work; Requires working in hot (above 90 F degrees) or cold (below 32 F degrees) temperatures; includes exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable

    Training/Certifications: Will be provided

    Shift Time/Overtime: 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday; On-Call rotation

    Travel: Travel to customer sites; Must have a current driver’s license and an acceptable driving record according to company guidelines

    Education: High School Diploma required; Technical college degree preferred
