Job description

Description

We are seeking a Part Time CDL Drivers to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a day cab tractor with a flatbed and piggyback (Princeton/Moffett) forklift to safely deliver products to customers. Most deliveries are local (within 150 miles, and home daily).


Hours are consistent and dependable all year. Shift is generally 6:00am-5:00pm Mon-Fri, occasional Saturday work 7am-11am.


This position would be 2-3 days per week and may become full time over time.

Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • Dependable driver who actively communicates with company and customers
  • Safely operate tractor/trailer and piggyback forklift
  • Load and unload cargo
  • Properly document work and delivery

Responsibilities:

  • Safely deliver products to customers as dispatched
  • Properly track and document activity log and maintain ELD and CDL compliance
  • Report any issues or incidents to company
  • Inspect equipment before and after trip, and maintain a clean and presentable vehicle

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields (3+ years preferred)
  • Previous experience with Piggyback Forklift (1+ years preferred)
  • You must have a valid Class A commercial driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to handle physical workload up to 50lbs unassisted
  • Strong work ethic and communication skills
