DS Bus South is now hiring School Bus Drivers to safely transport students for East Baton Rouge Parish Schools. Whether you're an experienced CDL driver or have never driven a school bus before, we'll provide the paid training, support, and encouragement you need to build a rewarding career.

Experienced drivers can earn up to $23.00 per hour, while new drivers begin at $20.75 per hour with paid CDL training available.

Safely transport students to and from school.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Conduct required child safety checks after every route.

Maintain a clean, safe, and DOT-compliant vehicle.

Communicate professionally with students, parents, teachers, and school administrators.

At least 21 years of age

Valid driver's license

Safe driving record

Ability to pass a DOT physical

Ability to pass a background check

Ability to pass a drug screening

CDL preferred but not required
