Job description

Part-Time In-Home Caregiver | Flexible Shifts & Weekly PayMake a Difference Close to Home

Looking for meaningful part-time work that fits around your life?

At CareWorks Health Services, we’re looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide one-on-one support to seniors in their own homes. We have clients throughout Orange County, with opportunities in Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Fountain Valley, Costa Mesa, and surrounding communities.

Whether you're an experienced caregiver, CNA, HHA, or have a background in hospitality, retail, or customer service, we welcome applicants who are ready to bring their skills and work experience into a rewarding senior care environment.

HCA Certification Required Before Interview

Applicants must have an active HCA (Home Care Aide) certification before they are eligible to interview. Please make sure your HCA certification is current and active when applying.

Why Caregivers Choose CareWorks
  • Flexible Shift Opportunities: Choose from available morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts based on your availability.
  • Pick Up Available Shifts: Our caregivers can pick up open shifts that work with their schedules rather than being assigned a fixed schedule.
  • Competitive Pay: Earn competitive hourly rates based on the shifts you choose to pick up, with weekly pay by direct deposit every Friday.
  • One-on-One Care: Focus your attention on one client at a time while providing hands-on support and personalized care.
  • Orange County Opportunities: We serve clients throughout Orange County, with opportunities across multiple communities and a strong presence in South Orange County.
  • Referral Rewards: Earn up to $300 for every friend you refer who joins our team.
  • 24/7 Hotline Support: Our hotline is available around the clock, with someone available to answer calls and provide support—even outside regular office hours.
  • Supportive Team: Work with an office and care team that values communication, reliability, and quality care.
What You May Do During a Shift

Every client has different needs, but your responsibilities may include:

  • Personal Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, and other daily personal care needs.
  • Mobility & Safety: Assist clients with transfers, ambulation, fall prevention, and safe movement throughout the home.
  • Daily Living Support: Help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and other routine household tasks.
  • Medication Reminders: Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan and applicable guidelines.
  • Companionship & Engagement: Provide conversation, encouragement, and appropriate activities while supporting the client's overall well-being.
  • Errands & Appointments: Accompany clients to grocery stores, medical appointments, or other approved outings when needed.
Who We're Looking For

We welcome applicants from a variety of professional backgrounds who have the experience, reliability, and compassion needed to provide quality senior care.

Experienced Caregivers, CNAs & HHAs: Bring your caregiving experience and continue building meaningful relationships with clients.

Hospitality, Retail & Customer Service Professionals: Your communication skills, patience, dependability, and experience working with people can translate well into senior care.
