Job description

We are a busy, patient-focused cardiology practice providing high-quality cardiovascular care in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Our goal is to combine excellent medical expertise with compassionate, personalized service.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with dynamic personality to join our team part-time. Candidate may be able to transition to full time if there is significant growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiology or internal medicine, strong clinical judgment, and a patient-first approach.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct cardiovascular assessments and follow-up visits
  • Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests (EKG, stress tests, labs)
  • Develop treatment plans and provide patient education
  • Collaborate closely with our cardiologists and medical staff
  • Maintain accurate and timely charting in the EMR system

  • Current NP or PA license in Virginia
  • National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
