Job description

The Staff Pad is partnering with a leading pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) organization, to recruit a Part-Time General Dentist for its affiliated professional care team in Jackson, MS.

The organization specializes in restorative and exodontia procedures for pediatric and special needs patients performed under general anesthesia, offering a structured surgical setting focused on safe, high-quality care.

Schedule: Part-Time (1 - 2days per week) | No Call, Weekends or Holidays

What You’ll Do

  • Provide general dental care in an ASC setting
  • Partner with the surgical team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
  • Treat approximately seven pediatric patients during a typical OR day
  • Collaborate with Dentists, Anesthesiologists, Registered Nurses, Registered Dental Assistants, and other team members

What We’re Looking For

  • Licensed Dentist with appropriate state licensure
  • Experience working with pediatric patients
  • Current BLS certification; AHA or equivalent PALS within 6 months of hire
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

  • National Board certification strongly preferred
  • Comfort practicing across various anesthesia staffing models, including Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models
