The Leonard C. Nelson School of Engineering seeks to hire multiple adjunct faculty members potentially for the Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering and Computer Science, Information Systems and Construction Management Programs. Salary is established on a per-course basis. All positions are part-time and not benefits-eligible.
Review of applications occurs on an as-needed basis. Qualified candidates may be contacted at any time when an opportunity becomes available. Applications submitted through the online form will remain active for the calendar year in which they are submitted.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching mainly in-person classes and labs and (potentially some online courses) for the undergraduate programs in the Leonard C. Nelson School of School of Engineering.
WVU Tech is a regional division of the West Virginia University system and is located in Beckley, West Virginia. It boasts a 12:1 student-to-faculty ratio and an average class size of 17 students, allowing personalized attention in a supportive environment.
