Job description

Lakewood National Golf Club, located in Bradenton, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Busser! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
 
  • Set and clear tables in a timely manner, ensuring that each table is clean and properly set with utensils, condiments, and other necessary items.
     
  • Assist servers with food and beverage service, delivering food and drinks to tables, and clearing plates and glasses.
     
  • Ensure that the dining area is clean and organized at all times, including cleaning spills and maintaining a tidy appearance of the dining room.
     
  • Communicate with the kitchen staff and servers to ensure that orders are prepared correctly and delivered promptly to guests.
     
  • Handle customer complaints and special requests in a professional and courteous manner.
     
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including proper handling and disposal of food, and use of cleaning chemicals.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required

  • Previous experience as a Busser or in a related position in a restaurant or hotel.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

SKILLS
Preferred
Experience in the Hospitality industry.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must maintain current Food Handler Card and OLCC Service Permit.
TRAVEL REQUIRMENTS
Local travel may be required in conjunction with Member/Guest events.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
May include both inside or outside shifts.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
