SALARY: $22.75 per hour

SHIFT:Monday-Thursday OR Tuesday-Friday

Start Time: 5:00AM-7:00AM

  • We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual for a temporary position with the potential to convert into a full-time, long-term opportunity.
    The initial temporary role will be a Driver Helper assignment, during which you'll have the opportunity to demonstrate your skills and contribute to the team.

  • To be considered for a permanent conversion into our Delivery team, we're looking for individuals interested in obtaining their CDL permits, and ultimately, their CDL-As. We'll guide and train you along the way!

ROLE SUMMARY:

Interested in delivering some of the world's best-known brands to accounts in the local area? If so, ourDriver Helperrole could be the job for you. You will work alongside our world class Drivers to deliver beer and smiles to our customers faces.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follow an outlined itinerary and be willing to work as a part of team whose account types and delivery routes can change based on daily need

  • Execute safety training and abide by safety rules and regulations set by AB ONE San Diego

  • Lift, stack, and transport cases and kegs of beer of varying weights in and out of accounts

  • Rotate product inside of accounts via FEFO standards.

  • Complete and submit all required paperwork, invoices, display forms, and load sheets within appropriate time frames

  • Ensure accurate completion of Department of Transportation checklist,and report maintenance problems and accidents in a timely manner

  • Deliver and manually load and unload product from transportation van or non-cdl truck

  • Collect payment for product when warranted and required.

  • May be assigned to warehouse duties as needed during 4-day work week

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED required (no degree required)

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must have a valid Drivers License and safe driving record

  • Ability to lift, load, unload, and move products weighing up to 165 pounds and fulfill all physical requirements of the job

  • Ability to work in a wide temperature variation (36-Temperature outside)

  • Ability and willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and/or holidays

  • Ability to drive Non-CDL truck and company owned cargo vans

  • Desire to assist in other departments such as Merchandising, Sales, and Warehouse
