A Part Time Broadcast Camera Operator is responsible for operating cameras during television broadcasts, live events, or studio recordings, typically on a flexible or as-needed schedule. Their main duties include framing shots, adjusting focus and exposure, and ensuring the best possible image quality according to the director’s instructions. They often work closely with other crew members to capture the desired footage and may be required to set up or break down camera equipment before and after shoots.
