Job description

(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Emergency-NP - Emergency Medicine Physician Nurse Practitioner (Odessa, Texas)
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to work in a hospital-based setting working a 48-hour shift schedule Thursday |Friday. The Provider should be comfortable working in a true emergency room setting. The facility is certified level 4 ER and they do have ER telemedicine for access to board certified ER Physicians. There are also family and internal medicine physicians that alternate call as back-up physicians. Most of the complex cases are referred out that require a higher level of care. The ER volumes run approximately 600 per month and the provider would see a variety of conditions including MVAs, Cardiac, Neulogical, broken bones and other emergency related matters. The provider must have PALS, ACLS and ATLS is also required the first year of employment.
The compensation is very competitive, and it is dependent upon experience. There is also a comprehensive benefits package as well which includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with matching contributions. Malpractice is also covered, and this location qualifies under the NHSC for loan repayment. The loan repayment program requires a separate application and once awarded, the Provider would receive $25,000 per year or $50,000 for a two-year commitment.
