Bowriders Grill - Line Cook - Part Time


We're looking for a reliable, energeticLine Cook to join our team. Full-time, seasonal position (June-September). The ideal candidate has a passion for food, thrives in a team environment, and can handle a busy service with a smile. You'll prep ingredients, cook on the line, keep your station clean, and help deliver consistently great dishes to our guests.

Bowriders Grill is a laid-back, waterfront restaurant located on beautiful Lake Union. We serve a fun and fresh dockside menu to locals, boaters, and visitors alike. Our kitchen is small but fast-paced, with an outstanding view of Lake Union, and we take pride in serving high-quality food with a casual vibe and a welcoming team atmosphere.


Compensation: $21.30 - $24/hour DOE+ Tip Share


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Prepare and cook menu items to Bowriders Grill standards
  • Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station
  • Assist with prep work, receiving deliveries, and restocking
  • Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team
  • Contribute to a positive team culture in a small but fast-moving kitchen


What We're Looking For:

  • Required:
    • Have a valid Washington State Food Handlers Permit
    • Must be 18 years of age or older
    • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.
    • Must possess a strong work ethic and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
    • Ability to stay self-motivated and driven in a fast-paced environment
    • Must be willing and available to work peak summer hours and weekends
    • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
    • Strong multi-tasking skill and a great attitude under pressure
