Job description

Pilar is now hiring a Bartender with 2+ years of experience bartending in a high-volume bar. Work with us to make great money, have fun, and be part of an awesome team!
Located in the Court Street District, Pilar is named after Ernest Hemingway's boat. Pilar serves ales and spirits with an island vibe, hearkening back to the writer's soft-but-swaggy Papa Hemingway era. A standing special menu is available with a selection of beers, creative cocktails, and delicious daiquiris.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:
  • Craft cocktail experience is a must
  • Knowledge of wine and beer styles and appropriate glassware
  • Great communication skills
  • Be a good teammate
  • Be responsible, show personal accountability, and be reliable
  • Keep a clean workspace
  • Must be proficient with POS systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
  • 2 or more years of high-volume bartending experience preferred
  • Must maintain alcohol knowledge and safety certifications as required by company and city/state
  • Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and certain holidays
