Elcor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a leading provider of family care choices, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Nursing Unit Assistant. This part-time position offers the opportunity to work with a wonderful team and develop skills that will prepare you for further training to become a N.Y.S. CNA. Responsibilities:

  • Receive training on tasks such as:

  • Transporting residents

  • Passing nourishments, meal trays, and fresh drinking water

  • Making beds as needed

  • Attending mandatory in-services and department meeting

  • Performing additional duties as assigned

  • Perform tasks that require physical effort, including lifting up to 50 lbs, walking, standing, or sitting for considerable lengths of time

  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional care and support to our residents

Requirements:
