Title: Biomedical Engineering Technology (BMET) Program Course DeveloperDepartment:School of Applied Engineering & TechnologyReports To:ChairPosition Summary:

SAET is seeking a highly qualified Course Content Creator (Contingent) to develop the complete instructional materials for BMET 231: Medical Networks, Data Security, and Privacy.

Essential Functions:

The successful candidate will design comprehensive undergraduate modules bridging healthcare critical infrastructure, networking protocols, medical device interoperability, and cybersecurity countermeasures. This role requires a rare blend of medical technology expertise and cybersecurity knowledge to build rigorous lecture assets, case studies, and practical lab exercises.

Pre-Requisite Qualifications:

* M.S. in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related engineering field (Ph.D. strongly preferred).
Deep technical understanding of both medical technology and core cybersecurity principles.
Demonstrated experience in curriculum development or instructional design in an academia, industry, or government.

Compensation: $40.00/hour

At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.

Range:Hourly Employees
