Job description

PART-TIME Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Keystone Achievements is seeking a BCBA for one of our three locations and an opportunity to be a part of a visionary and growing company in Colorado Springs, CO.
Keystone practices trauma informed-care. We are committed to ethical, child-focused, clinical care. Keystone’s clinical programs are individualized to each family. Therapy takes place in one of our centers or as a combination of in home, in center, and within the community. All sessions occur Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, leaving the evenings and weekends open to ensure a healthy work/life balance. We take a whole person approach to ABA so each child’s programs include components of physical wellness, self-care, mindfulness, care of living space, as well as individualized programs for cognitive and language development. BCBAs benefit from a collaborative clinical setting and a basic structure for sessions while practicing their own style of therapy within the broad guidelines of Keystone's Clinical Approach.
Keystone Clinical Approach
  • Keystone considers every individual valuable that has the right to self-determination. Our focus is on providing functional skills that help our students live the life they wish to live.
  • We encourage autonomy and honor the student’s agency over their own body and life. We do not practice force compliance.
  • We focus on de-escalation. Unless there is a serious safety issue, we gain the student’s permission for physical contact.
  • We recognize the student does not live a life alone but a life in a family and a community.
  • We practice Trauma Informed Care, a practice that prioritizes safety, collaboration, trust, empowerment, and choice.
  • We utilize only evidence-based treatments and work diligently to implement new strategies when research has shown them to be effective.
Qualifications for BCBA:
  • BCBA certification.
  • Meets standards for supervision requirements by the BACB.
  • Experience working with children 2 years to 20 years with developmental disabilities or behavior disorders.
  • Experience in behavioral assessment, treatment, and report writing.
  • Experience with assessment protocols such as Vineland, VB-MAPP, ABLLS, and AFLS strongly preferred.
  • Verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are vital to the organizations culture of teamwork, staff development, quality of services, and family engagement.
  • Self-awareness of personal bias.
  • Demonstrates leadership, integrity, and clinical skills consistent with Keystone's clinical approach.
Leadership Responsibilities for BCBA:
  • Embracing the therapeutic philosophy and organizations culture of compassion and self-development.
  • Mentor new BCBAs.
  • Clinical leader of team based at assigned center.
  • Facilitate an atmosphere of collaboration, excellence, and positive staff experience.
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics developed in collaboration with the leadership team.
  • Maintain open communication and transparency for families.
  • Team player that promotes camaraderie, compassion, and learning.

  • Must pass a national and local background check
  • Valid driver’s license
  • At least moderate level skills with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and general computer skills
  • Commitment to working collaboratively with others, fostering an inclusive environment, and fostering a positive and supportive culture for all staff members
