OB/GYN Assessment Center Physician โ€“ Baton Rouge, LA
We are seeking skilled and compassionate OB/GYN physicians to join a high-acuity assessment center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a collaborative, fast-paced environment focused on obstetric and gynecologic emergencies.
As an Assessment Center Physician, you will be responsible for the evaluation, triage, and management of patients presenting with urgent gynecologic and obstetric needs. You will provide a full spectrum of obstetric care, including support for vaginal and operative deliveries, while ensuring timely and effective clinical decision-making.
You will work closely with community OB/GYN providers to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes. This position also involves collaboration with board-certified emergency medicine and family medicine physicians managing non-obstetric cases. Physicians will also have the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic learning environment through involvement with an established OB/GYN residency program.
Schedule
  • Flexible scheduling with 12- or 24-hour day and night shifts
  • Full-time: 13 shifts (12-hour) per month
  • Part-time: 7โ€“10 shifts (12-hour) per month
  • No on-call responsibilities
