Job description

Come Join an Extraordinary Team!

We are an established, successful local bar and grill in the Southwest Bergen County area. Due to our continued success, we are currently looking for an enthusiastic Part-Time Bartender. Primary duties include:

  • Interact with customers, take orders, serve food, and prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages

  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies

  • Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each customer, and maintain a safe environment by identifying potential problem clients and other issues that may arise in the bar

  • Keep bar area clean in accordance with company guidelines, and in compliance with food and beverage rules and regulations

  • Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the night. Complete a final drawer tally at end of shift

Requirements include:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ proven success working as a bartender

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills

  • Must be able to lift 20 pound boxes and stand for an 8-9 hour shift

This is a part-time position with a standardized work schedule of Monday & Wednesday evenings from 5:00 pm until 1:00 am and Friday 6pm until 2am. Candidates should reside within a 20-mile radius of the Oakland/Wayne area.
