EVEN Kitchen & Bar - Bartender & Server
The Bartender & Server at EVEN Kitchen & Bar delivers the EVEN Hotels "Simple, Natural, Good" food and beverage wellness promise by engaging guests, understanding their nutritional preferences, and guiding them through menu and market selections to meet their needs. This role supports guests with tablet ordering, serves food during PM service, bartends, assists at the beverage station, maintains the grab-and-go market, and helps with meeting setups. When needed, the Bartender & Server may also assist with guest check-in/out and support the Athletic Studio or other common areas.

Must have prior restaurant and bartending experience. Key Responsibilities
Financial Returns
  • Engage guests to understand wellness needs and recommend healthy options.
  • Assist with tablet ordering and take beverage orders in line with brand standards.
  • Prepare and serve food and drinks (including cocktails) per approved recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of specialty cocktails and cooked-to-order menu items.
  • Use suggestive selling techniques to maximize revenue.
  • Safely store and manage food, beverage, and equipment inventory.
  • Replenish supplies and report low inventory promptly.
  • Assist with receiving and inventory checks.
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, guest areas, and food prep spaces throughout the shift.
  • Process payments accurately and securely; complete closing and reconciliation tasks.
Guest Experience
  • Respond to guest concerns promptly and apply service recovery guidelines.
  • Seek and use guest feedback to fulfill special requests.
  • Share personal wellness insights with guests and colleagues.
  • Stay current on brand, wellness, and nutrition trends.
Responsible Business

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 months food service and 1 year bartending experience.
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills.

  • Flexible schedule; ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Alcohol awareness certification and/or food handler permit as required by local regulations.

Preferred:
  • Hotel front-of-house F&B experience.
  • Formal training in food production.
  • Demonstrated interest in wellness, nutrition, or fitness.
Physical Requirements
  • Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent movement throughout restaurant.
