What You'll Do
As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key leadership role in driving sales and profitability, fostering a customer-first selling culture and executing daily business priorities. In partnership with the Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performance team while maintaining our values, brand, policies, and operational standards.
Your Assistant Manager role will include leadership responsibilities in one or more of the following areas of the business: Customer Experience, Freight Flow, Operations and Merchandising. The area of responsibility will be determined based on business needs along with your experience, skills and career goals.
Your primary job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
โ€ข Model and lead a customer-first selling culture by driving engagement, customer loyalty initiatives, visual standards, and brand values
โ€ข Analyze business trends utilizing all available reporting to problem-solve business opportunities and take appropriate action
โ€ข Consistently exemplify, maintain, and foster the culture and values of World Market
โ€ข Plan for and execute daily business tasks and duties assigned by and in the absence of the Store Manager
โ€ข Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performance, customer-focused team that aligns with our company values through training, recognition, and performance management

โ€ข Validate and maintain all Loss Prevention policies and procedures and inventory management initiatives

Full time and Part time associates are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) retirement savings plan after three (3) months of service.
