Job Description Summary
The responsibility of the limited part-time Assistant Coach for Swimming is to assist the head coach in all aspects of the administration of the swimming program.
Responsibilities
Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration, and active support of the University's Mission in Catholic and Lasallian higher education.
COACHING/ATHLETE SUPPORT:
-Practice and game coaching.
-Academic Advising
-Budget Tracking
-Social Media Management
-Team stats and improvement tracking percentage based
-Assist with team orders for team attire/sizes, etc.
-Create daily practice groups
-Recruiting - based off stats and athletes that fit profiles we are looking for, using online recruiting database using power index/ratings
-Meet set up and software, meet manager/team manager
-Evaluation of fundraising opportunities
As an individual employed in a coach capacity, you are subject to the regulations of the NCAA. If at any time it is determined that you are in violation of such regulations, then by the provision of the NCAA enforcement procedures, you may be subject to corrective disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics/Marketing/Business Administration. Playing experience at the college level and the ability to communicate effectively within the educational philosophy of Lewis University required.
