Job description

St. Mary's University of San Antonio, a private, Catholic and Marianist university invites applications for a part-time instructor (term) position in the Department of Environmental Science & Sustainability beginning January 2027. We are seeking a professional with experience working in the discipline of environmental policy and regulation to teach a 3-semester hour class titled ES 3320 - Environmental Policy and Regulation. The course is required for all Environmental Science majors and will be offered during the Spring 2027 semester.

Qualifications:

  • MS in Environmental Science with experience working with Environmental Assessment and regulatory compliance, or JD with experience working with Environmental Laws
  • Experience teaching undergraduates at the university level preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Teach one evening section of an Environmental Policy and Regulation course
