Description
St. Brendan Catholic School, a Catholic educational community dedicated to academic excellence and faith formation, is seeking a passionate and creative Part-Time Art Teacher. The ideal candidate will inspire students to explore artistic expression while integrating Christian values and teachings into the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging art lessons for students in PK-8th.
  • Teach a variety of artistic techniques, media, and art history concepts.
  • Foster creativity, self-expression, and appreciation for the arts.
  • Integrate Catholic identity , values, and traditions into art instruction where appropriate
  • Maintain a positive, respectful, and faith-centered classroom environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Organize and display student artwork throughout the school and at events.
  • Collaborate with faculty and participate in school activities, meetings, and liturgical events, meetings, and liturgical events as appropriate.
  • Ensure proper use and care of art supplies and classroom space.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree.
  • Teaching certification (preferred).
  • Prior teaching experience, especially with children (preferred).
  • Practicing Catholic or willingness to support the mission and values of Catholic education.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students of diverse learning styles.

Schedule:
Part-time, 2 days per week or 17 hours per week, based on school needs.
Compensation:
