LMG is seeking a Rigging - Quality Control Technician to support equipment readiness through inspection, testing, maintenance, and quality assurance processes. This role plays a critical part in ensuring rigging inventory meets operational standards, equipment orders are complete and functional, and productions receive reliable, show-ready solutions.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Rigging - Quality Control Technician, you will inspect, prepare, maintain, and validate equipment to ensure customer orders are complete, functional, and ready to perform.
• Equipment Inspection & Quality Control - Perform visual inspections of rigging components and equipment to identify cleaning, repair, maintenance, or preparation needs while ensuring inventory meets established quality standards
• Equipment Preparation & Cosmetic Maintenance - Complete routine cleaning, label replacement, minor cosmetic repairs, and preparation activities to maintain professional presentation and operational readiness
• Case & Shipping Readiness - Inspect shipping cases and transport materials to verify functionality and complete basic repairs including foam replacement, case preparation, and protective configurations to support safe transportation
• Order Review & Inventory Validation - Review rental reservations, show orders, manifests, and supporting documentation to verify order accuracy, confirm ancillary components are included, identify discrepancies, and ensure complete order fulfillment
• Inventory Coordination & Problem Resolution - Locate missing equipment elements, communicate repair needs, document findings, and support timely resolution of inventory or equipment concerns
• Functional Testing & Show Simulation - Configure and prepare equipment for inspection and operational testing under conditions designed to replicate real-world event environments and confirm customer requirements are achieved
• Warehouse Organization & Equipment Stewardship - Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse operations through inventory control practices, coded bin systems, and continuous improvements to storage effectiveness and workflow efficiency
• Logistics & Loading Support - Assist with loading and staging activities by positioning cases appropriately to balance loads, protect equipment integrity, and support safe transportation practices
What We're Looking For
• Previous experience in warehouse operations, quality control, audiovisual technology, production support, rigging, or related technical environments preferred
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high quality standards
• Comfortable performing hands-on equipment preparation, inspection, and testing activities
• Ability to identify problems and take proactive steps toward resolution
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to team goals
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative, service-oriented mindset
• Ability to safely perform physical work including moving and handling equipment
