Shift: 1st Shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Job Summary:
Fulton County Health Center is seeking a dedicated Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our oncology care team. The Staff Nurse will be responsible for coordinating and evaluating the nursing care for a designated group of patients. You will perform various professional nursing duties and supervise the LPN and secretary staff. This role requires a candidate with excellent judgment, innovation, and effective communication skills who is committed to both patient care and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and deliver patient-centered nursing care to oncology patients.
  • Supervise LPN and secretary staff on the patient care team.
  • Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust nursing care as necessary.
  • Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Ensure adherence to hospital policies, standards of practice, and ethical guidelines.
  • Provide compassionate care and support to patients dealing with cancer diagnoses and treatments.
  • Be flexible in adapting to staffing changes as dictated by patient care needs.

Requirements
  • Current RN license from the State of Ohio Board of Nursing.
  • ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider card (must be obtained and maintained).
  • Pass a written test on the years not renewing ONS card.
  • Knowledge of cancer diagnoses and related complications is required.
  • Two years of nursing experience required; oncology experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong supervisory and communication skills with a willingness to learn and grow.
