Thursday - Friday | flexible hours starting at 7am

Who You Are:
You're a dependable security professional with a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to keeping people and property safe. You excel at staying alert, communicating clearly, and responding calmly in any situation. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, you take pride in monitoring systems, conducting routine checks, and ensuring every employee, patient, and product remains protected.

What You'll Do:

As a Part-Time Security Officer at our Curaleaf cultivation facility, you will:

  • Protect the facility by walking the property, checking buildings, equipment, and access points, and making sure all doors and gates are locked and secure
  • Watch surveillance cameras and other security systems to spot any issues or unusual activity
  • Check and maintain security equipment by doing routine tests, making small adjustments, reporting problems, and helping evaluate new tools or technology
  • Control access by greeting and authorizing employees, visitors, and deliveries entering or leaving the facility
  • Investigate concerns and report anything suspicious to the Security Manager or local police as needed
  • Respond to alarms quickly and follow established procedures to keep everyone safe
  • Complete accurate reports and keep records up to date, making sure all documentation is clear and turned in on time
  • Safely and securely transport deliveries to authorized dispensary organizations and patients, ensuring all receipts are properly documented
  • Operate company vehicles in full compliance with state, local, and organizational guidelines

What You'll Bring:

  • You have a valid driver's license for the state where you are applying
  • You are at least 25 years old
  • You have previous experience in security, safety, law enforcement, or the military
  • You know how to stay calm, communicate clearly, and de-escalate conflicts in everyday or emergency situations
  • You have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • You can work a flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays

Even Better If:

  • You have at least 2 years of experience in safety or security, law enforcement, or military background, along with training and certification in First Aid and CPR
  • You've been trained in non-violent communication, conflict de-escalation, and assertiveness, equipping you to handle both typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively
