Platform Solutions Architect

We are seeking a Senior Platform Solutions Architect to lead the evaluation, onboarding, and optimization of tenant workloads onto our application hosting platform. This role serves as a critical bridge between platform engineering and application teams, ensuring that onboarded solutions align with platform standards, security requirements, and industry best practices.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise across cloud-native and open-source technologies with strong architectural judgment and the ability to guide teams toward scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.

You Have: 

• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, platform engineering, or DevOps roles

• 6+ years of experience with AWS, Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and container orchestration best practices

• Experience with full-stack application design with JavaScript Frameworks, such as Python, Node.js, NGINX, React, or Angular

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience supporting multi-tenant platforms or internal developer platforms

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform or Ansible

• Knowledge of Zero Trust architectures and service mesh technologies

• Ability to balance platform constraints with tenant needs  

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

• Master's degree in a Computer Science or Engineering field

• AWS Solution Architect Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
